Statement of Faith
At WILD GOD, we hold these foundational beliefs that guide our mission to connect people with Jesus Christ through time spent in the wilderness:
Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who became man, lived a sinless life, and willingly gave His life on the cross. He rose again to atone for the sins of all who place their faith in Him alone for salvation.
Personal Savior: We believe in Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. Through His sacrifice, He forgives our sins, redeems us from eternal separation from God, and reconciles us to a right relationship with Him. (Acts 4:10-12)
Humanity’s Need for Salvation: We believe that all people are sinners and cannot save themselves through good works, religious traditions, or personal effort. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
The Scriptures: We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. It is the ultimate authority for faith and life, providing divine truth and guidance. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
The Trinity: We believe in one God who exists eternally in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God, equal in power, glory, and substance. (Genesis 1:26-27)
The Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers and guides Christians, giving strength and wisdom to live according to God’s will and grow in Christ-likeness. (John 14:26)
The Return of Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to the earth to judge all people and to gather His followers to Himself for eternity. (Acts 15:13-17, Revelation 7)
These beliefs inspire us to embrace the wilderness as a sacred space where we can marvel at God’s creation, hear His voice, and grow in our walk with Him.
